SAT, ACT & AP Score Reporting Information
Sending Official Test Scores to Colleges/Universities
If you are applying to a 4-year college, you will have to send your OFFICIAL SAT and/or ACT scores, unless the college/university is test optional. If the college does not receive them, your application is incomplete. Please read the following important items.
GENERAL OVERVIEW of SENDING SAT, ACT and AP Scores
APPLYING TO A CSU/CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY:
ACT: On ACT.org, list ONE CSU campus as an ACT score report recipient, then all of the CSU campuses will receive your score.
SAT: On www.collegeboard.com, list the Cal State Apply institution code (3594) then Cal State Apply will store your scores for all CSU campuses to retrieve.
APPLYING TO A UC/UNIVERSITY of CALIFORNIA:
ACT: On ACT.org, send your official ACT score report to ONE UC campus, then all of the campuses that you have applied to will receive your ACT score report.
SAT: On www.collegeboard.com, send your official SAT score report to ONE UC campus, then all of the UC campuses that you have applied to will receive your SAT score report.
APPLYING TO A COMMON APP SCHOOL:
Make sure you send your OFFICIAL scores to EACH campus! If you have taken multiple tests, please CLICK HERE to review the policies for the Score Choices (Super Score, Individual Score, etc.) for each campus.
APPLYING TO ANY OTHER COLLEGES:
Read the instructions on the college website to determine how to send your score(s).
