Welcome to the VHTPA Counseling Program Page

School Counseling Vision
Vladovic Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy’s (VHTPA) counseling team envisions all of our students to be empowered through dynamic and inspiring learning experiences. Through the counseling program, all students will have the tools required to be successful and socially responsible individuals; achieving their goals through post-secondary exposure and preparation. Via indirect and direct student services/academic and social-emotional support, VHTPA graduates will be lifelong learners, global-minded, and responsible citizens of the 21st century.

School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of the Vladovic Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy counseling team is to graduate and empower college and career-ready students through the delivery of individualized and evidence-based interventions. The counseling team uses the ASCA National Model to focus on all students’ right to develop their academic, career, and social-emotional domains. Through advocacy of equitable educational opportunities, all students are prepared to be leaders in the classroom, communities, and beyond.
