Elaine Lopez Scholarship

In the memory of Elaine Lopez who died after a lengthy illness.

 

Elaine Lopez lived her life according to three guiding principles: devotion to faith, dedication to family and a commitment to help those less fortunate. What resulted was a life that blossomed with endearing love and friendships

 

Elaine Lopez was an elementary teacher and her family decided to pay tribute to her by creating a scholarship in her memory.

 

The Elaine Lopez Memorial Scholarship was established to assist students who share her teaching ambitions and her compassion for others, especially those at the University who are facing challenges in their academic ventures.

 

Interviews will be held in May 2025

 

• Must be complete by Friday, April 18, 2025
• Pursue a career in education
• Must intend to attend a 4 year university
• Must be in good standing
• Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
