The Teaching Project
SERVICE LEARNING
Each year ninth and tenth grade students at Dr. Richard A. Vladovic Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy complete their service learning requirement by completing the Teaching Project.
Students collaborate in their AVID classes to create science-based, technology-centered lessons for local third and fourth grade students. This project enhances student learning by allowing students the opportunity to practice the teaching profession and demonstrate the mastery of elementary science standards.
The Teaching Project is a testament to VHTPA's commitment to interacting and engaging with our surrounding community.
